1993

Mike Davis and Yung Nguyen founded the company to build data networks to the nation’s jails and prisons to collect incarceration data and keep crime victims safe and informed.

1994

VINE, the nation’s first automated victim notification program, launched. Today, it is used in more than 44 states and makes millions of notifications to crime victims every year.

2001

Appriss launches Justice Intelligence to help law enforcement leverage near-real-time incarceration data in investigations.

2009

NPLEx launched to mitigate diversion of over-the-counter cold and allergy medications towards illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine. > 90% reduction in domestic meth labs since launch of NPLEx.

2011

Appriss launches Risk Intelligence to improve efficiency and efficacy of workforce risk management solutions. Today, Risk Intelligence is a leading solution used by most background screening companies to better identify risk.

2013

Appriss launches its prescription drug monitoring software, PMP AWARxE, to mitigate misuse/abuse/diversion of opioids. Today, PMP AWARxE is a market leader, serving 44 out of the 54 programs in the country.

2013

PMP Gateway integrates opioid prescription history directly into provider and pharmacist workflows to better inform care-providers about patient’s risk. More than 150 EMR and pharmacy management systems connect to PMP Gateway and support more than 1 billion patient encounters each year.

2014

Incarceration Intelligence launched to help mitigate fraud, waste and abuse in government entitlement programs and save billions of valuable tax payer dollars.

2014

Appriss acquires NarxCare from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. Launches platform to mitigate Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

2014

Insight Partners acquires Appriss and commits to expanded investments to deliver market-leading risk management solutions.

2015

Appriss expands risk-management capabilities into Retail sector with the acquisition of The Retail Equation.

2015

Appriss organizes into three business units – Insights, Retail and Health – to deepen market expertise and deliver more comprehensive solutions to customers.

2016

Acquisition and integration of Sysrepublic with The Retail Equation to create a comprehensive platform to mitigate employee and consumer fraud.

2017

Appriss Retail launches Incent, a real-time decisioning solution to personalize consumer incentives post-returns.

2018

Appriss Health expands health services for SUD and Behavioral Health with the acquisition of OpenBeds.

2019

Appriss Retail adds case management capabilities to the platform with the acquisition of LP Software and Verisk Retail. Crosses milestone of 250+ retail customers.

2019

Appriss achieves unicorn status. Clearlake Capital Group becomes equal partner with Insight Partners and commits to further acceleration in market-based strategies.

Appriss names Krish Sastry as CEO. Mike Davis, founder, transitions to Executive Chairman.

2020

Appriss accelerates pace of innovation in workplace safety solutions with the launch of CrimSmart, CDaaS and ProviderSafe.

2021

Appriss Health acquires PatientPing to further expand capabilities to deliver the nation’s leading platform for whole-person care coordination.

2021

Appriss Health and PatientPing separated into an independent operating company and relaunched as Bamboo Health.

Appriss sells Appriss Insights to Equifax for $1.825bn.

Appriss Retail launches Engage, a real-time decisioning engine to improve consumer experience and mitigate fraud and abuse in omnichannel commerce businesses.
